Many of our customers have expressed a desire to stay in touch with the many wonderful
friends and acquaintances they’ve made over the years at The Quilted Thimble. We
have reserved the meeting room at the South Broken Arrow Library for the second
Saturday of each month from 10 to 3.
This will not be formal classes or demos; it will simply be a time to gather together
to sew, visit, and be inspired by the wonderful projects that everyone is working
on. There will be no fee to participate, nor do you need to feel bound to the 10
to 3 timeframe. Drop by just to say hello if that’s all your schedule will allow!
Feel free to bring your sewing machine, cutting mats, etc. Please remember this
isn’t a quilt shop classroom, so irons, ironing boards, etc., won’t be available.
Bring what you’ll need. Also, if you are going to use your sewing machine, remember
to bring extension cords. The room should comfortably accommodate 24 sewing machines
on tables (4 to a table). There will be plenty of additional seating for those who
wish to sit and do hand work.
