At The Quilted Thimble your quilt will receive the love and care your quilt deserves.
Each quilt is evaluated on an individual basis to assure the quilting is appropriate
to the style of your quilt.
For pricing estimates, choose the style that best compliments your quilt:
Basic Overall Design: (.01 per square inch) (Minimum: $40)
Edge to edge free hand large meandering. Examples: Simple floral
meandering, hearts, loops, stars, swirls and curls.
Custom/ Complex Design: (.015 per square inch)
May be done free hand or by use of templates. Includes border
treatments, sashings, cornerstones and simple background meandering.
Heirloom: (.02 per square inch)
Heavier, more detailed quilting with a more traditional feel.
Includes block motifs, small background work, separate border designs.
Basting: (.005 per square inch)
Layering and basting for hand quilting.
Rows of large stitches spaced 4 inches apart.
Back preparation, edge trimming and binding services available on request.
Preferred batting: Quilters Dream Cotton. (9.00 linear yard)
Other battings on approval only.
Thread: High quality 100% cotton thread in a color that compliments your quilt will be
used and is included in the quilting fee. Specialty threads may incur an additional fee.
